  1. Village of The Hills Park Usage Permit Application

    This application is for reserving Village of The Hills City Park for a specific date and time. Reservations are available to both residents and non-residents with city staff authorization and completed payment.

    To secure your reservation, please complete the online form and submit your payment in person at 102 Trophy Drive, The Hills, TX 78738, during regular business hours.

    Reservation Information

    • Time Limit: Maximum 6 hours, including setup and cleanup.
    • Event Hours: Sunrise to sunset only.
    • Advance Approval: Large events or special vendor requests which require City Council approval must be submitted at least 45 days in advance.
    • Public Access: The park remains open to the public at all times; no exclusive closures except for authorized city programs.
    • Residents: $75 fee plus $150 refundable deposit
    • Non-Residents: $150 fee, non-refundable, plus $250 deposit

    Liability & Responsibility

    • Village of The Hills is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses during the event. The applicant assumes full responsibility for all guests and activities.
    • Falsified information, damage to park property, or improper use of facilities may result in additional fees and revocation of future park privileges.

    General Care & Responsible Use

    • Park Care & Cleanup: The park must be returned to its original state after use. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
    • Trash disposal: If pavilion trash bins are full, tie the bags closed and place them in the large containers behind the restroom building. Spare bags are provided.
    • No writing, painting, or chalk art on any park surface.
    • Do not drag heavy tables; lift them carefully and return them to their original position.

    Special Event & Equipment Approvals

    • Prior approval is required for inflatables, water slides, petting zoos, or similar attractions.
    • Water slides are prohibited during Stage 2 Mandatory Water Restrictions. (As of March 2025, use of the water hose for events is not permitted.)
    • Events expecting more than 40 attendees, charging fees, selling items directly or through a vendor, or extending beyond park boundaries require City Council approval.

    Parking & Electrical Usage

    • Vehicles, including golf carts, must remain in designated parking areas. No driving or parking on grass.
    • Parking: The lot accommodates approximately 20 vehicles; alternate parking plans are required if more vehicles are expected.
    • Electrical Outlets: Pavilion outlets support small kitchen appliances. For inflatables, use the outlets on the exterior side of the southern column facing restrooms. Overloading circuits may result in power loss.

    Fees & Cancellation Policy

    • Residents: $75 fee plus $150 refundable deposit
    • Non-Residents: $150 fee, non-refundable, plus $250 deposit
    • Reservations canceled less than three business days before the event are non-refundable.
