General Election
Village of The Hills holds annual elections on the November uniform election date (first Tuesday in November).
Election Information: The City Council is made up of six members (mayor and five councilmembers). Terms are for two years. All councilmembers are elected “at large”. All office holders for city elective office shall meet the requirements for public office prescribed by state and federal law. The candidate must be a registered voter, 18 years of age at the date of election, who has resided in the city for 6 months and the state for 12 months.
There will be three (3) City Council seats up for election on November 7, 2023. You may email the City Secretary at Sonja@TheHillsTX.gov to schedule an appointment to file the appropriate paperwork to run for the office of City Council Member for The Village of The Hills.

- Last Day to Register to Vote: October 10, 2023
- Early Voting Begins: October 23, 2023
- Early Voting Ends: November 3, 2023
- Election Day: November 7, 2023
