Amy and her husband Greg first moved to Austin in 2012, enthusiastically exchanging downtown high-rise living for more space and tranquility in The Hills in the Spring of 2019.  

Amy joined the Parks & Recreation Commission shortly after settling into the community.  Amy served on the commission for 3 years, planning events such as Holidays in the Park and HillsFest and collaborating on the park's improvement projects.  Amy was the Chairperson of the Commission prior to her election to City Council.

Amy is a seasoned global events marketing director, currently working for Openprise, a venture-backed marketing software company.  Amy brings her passion, creativity, leadership, fanatical attention to detail, flair, and infectious dedication to every event and program. 

Education 

Amy earned her Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
