Neighbors, I want to make you aware that a large column of smoke is moving into our area from the west due to a 400+ acre fire burning north of Fredericksburg. You may even smell it in the air.
While Lake Travis Fire Rescue is closely monitoring the situation and always ready to respond, the general smoke in our area is likely from this fire. That said, if you see visible flames or a distinct smoke column with a base, please call 911 immediately.
